New Student Information

New student Orientation Booklet

Welcome from the Director

Dear Coexistence Students,

mari fitzduffCongratulations on your admission to the Alan B. Slifka Program in Intercommunal Coexistence. We are excited to welcome you as the fifth official class to the Master's Program in Coexistence and Conflict at Brandeis University.

In order to help you get acquainted with the program, we have put together an orientation booklet that provides helpful information about the program facilities, faculty, classes and resources related to this program. We know you will have at least one other general orientation, and two if you are an international student, so in order to not overwhelm you, we have not repeated much of the information that will be covered in these orientations. Please feel free to read through the booklet, as it will be available online for easy access, but know that you will be going over it more thoroughly during your orientation with us at the end of August.

Until then, you can contact me regarding any academic issue, or Anne Gudaitis, the program administrator, regarding administrative issues.

Also, if you are in the area over the summer, please stop in and say hello. Our administrative offices are located on the third floor of the Abraham Shapiro Academic Complex. We are very excited to meet all of you and welcome you to your new program.

Sincerely,

Mari Fitzduff
Program Director
