Community members have cultivated learning and connection across these differences through publications and events in many ways in the university’s history.

Today the Brandeis Bridges program links Jewish and African American undergraduates, while courses in Sociology, the Program in Religious Studies, and the Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies cultivate academic learning about a range of religious traditions.
