Club Sports
The club sports program consists of 21 student organizations designed to serve interests in a variety of sports and physical activities. Club sports are student-run, each operating independently and relying on its members for recruiting, organization, administratio, and coordination of all club functions. Each club determines its own leadership structure and organization: how to elect officers, when to hold practices and whether or not to hire a coach.
Clubs may be competitive or instructional in nature. Competitive clubs participate in a variety of leagues throughout New England and the Northeast against schools ranging from the Division I to the Division III level. Clubs compete both on and off campus, regionally and nationally. Instructional clubs offer training in the martial arts, and are led by masters in their respective disciplines.
No prior experience is required to participate in any of the clubs.
