Ellie Agnew is a Research Specialist at the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies and the Steinhardt Social Research Institute. She received a BA in Jewish Studies with a minor in Hebrew from the University of Texas at Austin in December 2010. During college, she was active in Texans for Israel. She most recently worked at the Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies. She previously interned for Texas Hillel and JESNA.
Before attending UT, she resided in Israel and attended the Walworth Barbour American International School. She traveled with the Israeli National Softball team to the 11th Annual Maccabiah games in Buenos Aires, in 2009.
At the Steinhardt Social Research Institute, Ellie works with Elizabeth Tighe on the meta-analysis project. For CMJS, she manages respondents for the Birthright studies and is a team member of the AICE study.
