Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What does my registration fee include?
A. The registration fee allows each guest and student to get a Fall Fest keychain, which allows free access to any on-campus Fall Fest event including our Friday Night Program (Night on the Boardwalk), Fall Fest Variety Show, all Faculty Presentations and Spotlights, as well as campus parking, and entrance to Gosman Sports Center. The registration fee does not include Shabbat Dinner, Off-Campus programs, student theater performances, or a cappella shows.
Q. Is it required to register for the weekend?
A. No. There is an at-the-door entrance fee for each major event if you choose not to register. However, we strongly encourage you to register because the flat registration fee is less than the sum of the door prices.
Q. Do I have to register to participate in off-campus programs?
A. Yes, you must be registered and have paid the registration fee in order to participate in off-campus programs.
Q. If I register, do I need to pay the registration fee for my Brandeis student as well?
A. No you do not need to pay a registration fee for your Brandeis student. Any adults, siblings from other schools, or children over the age of five will need to pay the $10/each registration fee. However, for off-campus programs, Brandeis students do need to be registered and you should pay for both your family as well as your Brandeis student.
Q. I want to attend the Shabbat Dinner, how should I register?
A. On the registration form, please indicate the number of guests attending the Shabbat dinner. This will be an extra $30 per person. Your student can pay for the Shabbat dinner using his or her meal plan. Remind your student to make arrangements with the cashier in Sherman Dining Hall by October 8th.
Q. Can I register later?
A. Yes, you can register on site at the Registration Table in the Shapiro Campus Center when you arrive for Fall Fest. However, if you plan on participating in any off-campus programs, we recommend you register early because most programs sell out before Fall Fest weekend.
Q. Can I pay online?
A. No, unfortunately our program does not have online payment capabilities at this time, so we can only accept checks. Upon filling out the online registration form, please carefully calculate your total cost and mail a check to the Department of Student Activities payable to Brandeis University.
