Brandeis Ensemble Theater (BET) presents
Cinderella Waltz
Carl J. Shapiro Theater, Shapiro Campus Center
Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
Rosey Snow is trapped in a fairy tale world that is by turns funny and a little frightening, with her stepsisters Goneril and Regan, her demented stepmother, her lecherous father, a bewildered Prince, a fairy godmother who sings salty old sailor songs, a troll and a possibly homicidal village idiot. This play investigates the archetypal origins of the world's most popular fairy tale, contrasting the familiar and charming Perrault version with the darker, more ancient and disturbing tale recorded by the brothers Grimm. Grotesque farce and romantic fantasy blend in a fairy tale for adults.
Purchase tickets online, by phone at (781) 736-3400, and in person at Brandeis Tickets in the Shapiro Campus Center.
Canned Goods Drive
Come drop off any canned goods you wish to donate in the special boxes in Shapiro Campus Center. The canned goods will be donated to the annual Halloween for the Hungry event , a Brandeis-organized initiative to provide less fortunate local homes with necessary food for their families.
Community Service & Bone Marrow Donor Registry
Visit our community service table in the Campus Center Atrium, at which information will be provided about the different chances to volunteer at Brandeis. Come learn about bone marrow donation as well as the opportunity to register as a bone marrow donor.
There will be volunteers tabling for the Bone Marrow Registry on Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
