What is your favorite part of being Senior Week Co-Coordinator? My favorite part of my role is watching everything come together... and the smiling seniors :)

How has this involvement impacted your time at Brandeis? This has not only given me a chance to give back to the senior class, but it has also given me a chance to meet new people and make new friends. The networking experience is a wonderful one!

What made you get involved? I got involved to give back to the senior class and to make sure that their last days as undergrads at Brandeis University were memorable :)

A Night Under the Stars: Junior/Senior Formal 2014

The Junior/Senior Formal is always a big night for Brandeis juniors and seniors as they dress up and enjoy a night of dancing, dining and celebrating during the spring semester! See below for this past year's event!

8:00 p.m. - midnight
$55 per person

Tickets include transportation, hors d'oeuvres, dinner (kosher options available) and dancing at one of the premiere reception facilities in New England.

Only Juniors and Seniors are allowed to purchase tickets.  Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.  Attendees will need to identify bus time, table number and meal type at time of purchase.  The meal options are listed below.

Buses leave T-Lot at 7:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.  (Please arrive 15 minutes early to board your bus.) 

Dinner:

Non-Kosher:

Chicken Marsala with caramelized mushrooms in a sweet Marsala wine reduction with rice Florentine

Grilled Salmon Fillet with a miso glaze, tropical fruit salsa, and coconut jasmine rice 

Kosher:

Tangier style chicken with dried fruits, cous-cous, garden vegetables, and roasted asparagus (contains meat items but no diary)

Grilled salmon tuscan-style with grape tomatoes and calamara olive ragu over jasmine rice with vegetable medley (contains neither meat nor dairy)

Other:

For any special dietary needs options included but not limited to vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or individual specific food allergy/dietary restrictions you may have, please email the coordinators or note it at the Box Office when you purchase your ticket.

Tickets will be available at Brandeis Tickets in the Shapiro Campus Center Atrium February 24 - March 8:
Monday - Friday: noon - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: noon-4:00 p.m.
Brandeis Tickets accepts cash, check, MasterCard and Visa.


There will be a limited number of ticket grants available for those who need financial assistance in attending this event.  Please send a letter or email to Stephanie Grimes in Student Activities to request this assistance at grimes@brandeis.edu by Wednesday, February 26.

The Junior/Senior Formal is held annually for the Junior and Senior classes and their guests. The event is traditionally held off campus during the spring semester. The formal is planned by two student coordinators and a committee of student leaders, who are advised by the Department of Student Activities.  The event consists of transportation, catered food, music, and dancing.
