Their show combines influences from Sly and the Family Stone to Talking Heads into an explosive auditory and visual circus, a full-frontal assault on the senses. Bestnewbands.com says Turkuaz "is like tossing a lit match into a dumpster full of fireworks." The nine-piece ensemble of various horns and strings electrifies any venue they grace, and may very well blow the roof of our crumbling castle.

Joining them will be intergalactic funk caravan Swift Technique. A similarly large and exhilarating crew, Swift Technique and Turkuaz will undoubtedly make for a Mardi Gras to remember.
