What is your favorite part of your role? My favorite part about planning and working Senior Week is being able to create events for the senior who have worked so hard the past 4 years. Additionally, seeing their enjoyment in their last few days at Brandeis.

How has this involvement impacted your time at Brandeis? It has given so many opportunities to learn more about the administration and appreciate how much work goes into events that are happening at Brandeis. It's given me leadership skills that I will be able to use in my life and job force later on.

Do you have a favorite memory of your time with Student Activities or at Brandeis? I have many memories but one of them is finally seeing all the hard work of senior week and how happy everyone is during my first year being coordinator.

Pledge to Make a Difference

Since 1987, the Graduation Pledge of Social and Environmental Responsibility has been offered at colleges and universities throughout the world. Senior Week 2015

After four busy years of tests, deadlines and to-do lists, Senior Week is a week of social events for seniors to relax and enjoy time with their classmates before graduation! Read on for information about Senior Week 2015!

Do you want to get involved with senior week and commencement?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you should apply to be a Senior Week Volunteer! Submit your Senior Week Volunteer Application (PDF) along with one reference from a Brandeis faculty member and a cover letter by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 to the Department of Activities in the SCC Suite 203 and sign up for an interview! Get Your Wristband!
10 a.m.–4 .p.m., SCC Atrium

Bring your purchased Senior Week tickets and Brandeis ID to the SCC Atrium to get a wristband for the week!

Saturday, May 10

The Yacht Club
10 p.m.– 2 a.m., Shapiro Science Center Atrium
Price without Senior Week pass: $10

All Aboard the Brandeis Express as we set sail into the night! Come dressed in your nautical attire, and enjoy the rooftop patio. There will be classy hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine. Must be 21+ to attend. Please remember your valid State ID, and Brandeis ID to drink at the event.

Club Night at Lucky Strike
10 p.m.–1 a.m.
Buses leave at 9:30 p.m., Spingold Theater Lot
Price without pass $25

Join your friends at Lucky Strike at Jillian’s Nightclub to enjoy a wide variety of entertainment. With a bowling alley, billiards room, rooftop patio, lounge area, and popular Boston DJ, this venue creates an ideal evening of fun. Cash bar will be available with valid ID. The Big B Free
12 p.m.–3 p.m., SCC Great Lawn

Join us at our first ever carnival! We will have carnival games, music, and food that you can enjoy outside with everyone!

Class of 2014 Faculty/Staff Appreciation and Teaching Awards Reception
3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., International Lounge, Usdan

As you look back on your time at Brandeis, there are likely faculty and/or staff members who have been instrumental to your growth as a scholar and as a person. Invite faculty and staff members to be your guests at this casual reception. Enjoy refreshments and the opportunity to publicly thank those who helped make your Brandeis journey memorable.

During the reception, the University will announce and honor faculty selected for prestigious teaching awards. Then we'll turn the mic over to all of you so that you can say a few words about your special guests.

Eighth Annual Senior Week Cookout! We’ll have grills, meat, other snacks, and beverages; you just need to bring your appetite! This is a great time to catch up with each other and enjoy being outside. Kosher food will be available.

We are creating a legendary dance party at Brandeis! You will see the most talented audio, lighting, staging, and special effects that will make this an unforgettable experience. Come and join us at the red carpet and be ready for the party of the year.

Welcome Luncheon for New Alumni

Commencement marks your transition from student to alumnus/a and the continuation of your lifelong relationship with Brandeis. Commencement Rehearsal and Class Photo
3:30 p.m.–5 p.m., Gosman Arena

Find out how the main Commencement Ceremony will work and get the answers to all of your Commencement questions. Then join your class on the grass for a Senior Class photo. You will have the chance to receive a copy of the photo during the summer through Alumni and Development.

Boston Harbor Cruise
9 p.m. – Midnight

Remember the Harbor Cruise at Orientation? Just wait and see how times have changed! Enjoy one last night on the Boston Harbor with all of the friends that you’ve met here at Brandeis. To enjoy the cash bar, please bring valid State ID.

Baccalaureate Celebration
4 p.m., Chapel’s Pond (Rain location: Berlin Chapel)

Join us for this interfaith celebration where students of different religious backgrounds will speak of their time at Brandeis and how it impacted them on their spiritual lives. All are welcome!

Presidential Reception with the Class of 2014, Families and Friends
5 p.m.–7 p.m., SCC Atrium

You and your families are invited to this reception hosted by the President and the Board of Trustees.  Come enjoy food, wine, and beer and kick off the weekend of your graduation! Please come in casual dressy attire.

Saturday, May 17

Catholic Mass
5 p.m., Bethlehem Chapel

Join Reverend Walter Cuenin in a special Mass for all Catholic graduates and their families. The Mass will be followed by a beautiful reception near the pond. All are welcome!
