Every semester the Department of Student Activities sponsors off-campus trips for students to visit and experience local Boston attractions. Read on for the 2013-2014 list of trips and gear up for some new and fresh trips this fall (posted soon!).
Thursday, September 5
Group leaves from Spingold Driveway, 12:30-3:30pm
Spend the afternoon kayaking down the Charles River from Charles River Canoe and Kayak's Newton site! Purchase a $10 ticket at Brandeis Tickets in the SCC atrium.
Friday, September 6
Explore Boston Day
Usdan Shuttle Stop, Shuttle begins running at 3:30pm
Take this opportunity to visit local attractions, such as the New England Aquarium and Museum of Science, at discounted prices.

Apple Picking at Honey Pot Hill
Bus leaves from T-Lot, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Pick the crispest apples you can find before heading home to bake some pies for your roommates! Price of apples not included in trip. $5 refundable deposit required at Brandeis Tickets in the SCC atrium. Bus leaves T-Lot at 1pm.

Skating on the Frog Pond

The Color Purple

Based on Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, this soul-stirring musical tells the unforgettable story of a woman who – through love – finds the strength to triumph over adversity and discover her own unique voice. Cosponsored by the Department of Student Activities and the Theater Department. Tickets: $10 for students, $15 for faculty/staff.
Big thrills! Big hills! Slip, slide and race your friends down the steepest snow tubing hill in New England.
Single or Tandem Snow Tubing, Ride the Frozen Rapids! Northern Outdoors whitewater raft that can hold as many as eight people. Up to nine lanes serviced by two lifts so you never have to hike up to the top. A full service restaurant is available.
Discounted price $15 (regular price $27). Purchase tickets at Brandeis Tickets. Limit one per Brandeis ID.
Tickets are available at a discounted rate on a first-come, first-served basis in Room 203 of the Shapiro Campus Center. We are open Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00 pm and accept cash or checks.

Located in the Shapiro Campus Center atrium, Brandeis Tickets provides tickets to Brandeis events, ranging from concerts to plays to a host of other unique events happening right in your own Brandeis backyard! Brandeis students may purchase tickets at $5 each (regular price $20) for the Brandeis Concert Season at Slosberg Music Center and the Brandeis Theater Company at the Spingold Theater Center. Open Monday-Friday, noon-6pm and Saturday noon-6:00 pm. Cash, checks, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted for most events.
