What is your favorite part of being SPS Coordinator and a Theater Assistant? Definitely being able to work with such a wide variety of students. Both as coordinator of SPS and as a TA I get to work with groups from all walks of life: international clubs, performance groups, community service groups, student government. I love to help groups make their events a success.
How has this involvement impacted your time at Brandeis? Well, it's definitely made me a lot busier. But more importantly, I think it's helped me step out of my comfort zone and really grow into the person I am today. It's taught me to be more outgoing, and it's made me more organized and more of a problem solver. I can't imagine Brandeis without my jobs with DSA.
Do you have a favorite memory of your time with Student Activities or at Brandeis? My favorite memory with Student Activities would definitely be working the Junior-Senior Formal last semester. My staff of technicians and I had an adventure driving to Boston (we got pretty lost while driving a very large truck), and so we had very little time to set our equipment up, but with the help of Student Activities we got the event set up and ready to go with time to spare, and there was plenty of time to chill and hang out with friends. And there was free food which is always a plus :).
