Sundeis
The SunDeis Film Festival is an annual student film festival at Brandeis. It was started by a group of students seven years ago who wanted an on-campus venue to show their films and promote student filmmaking. Since the inaugural event, the festival has grown tremendously to incorporate film panels and discussions, as well as celebrity screenings and awards. From acting to documentary production, a wide variety of Brandeis alumni work in the film industry, and the festival is the perfect opportunity for current students to pick their brains about the industry. This past year Tony Goldwyn ’82 was awarded the first ever SunDeis Alumni Achievement Award.
The SunDeis Film Festival is organized by a core group of student on the SunDeis Planning Committee. From film submissions and screenings to publicity and event planning, this dedicated group of students does it all. If you have a love for film and are interested in being a part of the SunDeis Film Festival Planning Committee, please contact the Department of Student Activities for an application.
