The final requirement for this honor is a reflective essay. Written reflection is a powerful way to document your learning and enhance your service experience. In a final reflective essay, please respond to one or all of the following questions summarizing the highlights of your service experiences. The reflective essay should be no less than one page, but not exceed two pages.
- What is the most significant thing you have learned a) about yourself and b) about our community through your service endeavors?
- How will you continue to stay engaged in service after graduation?
- How has your volunteer work impacted your values or career path?
Reflection essays can be emailed to the Department of Community Service at kwhiffen@brandeis.edu and are due on 4/10/13 for students graduating in May 2013.
