Let your creativity and needs guide your volunteer requests. Brandeis has many faculty,staff, students, and alumni who have hidden talents that may match your organization's need or project. Some possible one-time events include, but are not limited to:
- Childcare for a one-time event
- Facility Upgrades (painting)
- Gardening
- Presenations
- Annual Events
- Field Days/Family Days
Request Volunteer Support
The Department of Community Service supports numerous weekly co-curricular volunteer efforts through the Waltham Group. Currently, we are looking to increase the number of 'one time' or 'special events' volunteer opportunities that our students can provide. As we look to pilot this improved initiative, below you will find a volunteer request form that you can complete to request volunteer support. Please send requests at least one month in advance to your requested date. Once completed a member of the Department of Community Service staff or Community Connections Waltham Group coordinator will respond within 2 business days. Please note that this request does not indicate a commitment to complete the requested project, but rather an attempt to gather interest, skills and availability, and try our best to accommodate your requests.
