If you have deferred from a previous semester, you will need to complete a new housing application.
Housing Application
To complete the housing application, you must first create a UNet account.
1. Visit https://unet.brandeis.edu and click on the "Open a UNet Account" link.
At the top of the Open a UNet page is a link to the Library and Technology Services (LTS) department at Brandeis entitled "Important information for new and returning students." This is a comprehensive explanation of the technology services offered at Brandeis and the official policies associated with those services. You may visit the LTS Web site at your convenience. It is not necessary to visit the LTS site before creating your UNet account.
2. After you have carefully read the Brandeis University Computer Policy, please signify your acceptance of these terms by clicking the button 'I Agree.'
3. You have been directed to the Open a New Account page. Scroll down the page until you come to the section Identification. Please enter your first and last name exactly as entered on your application for Admissions in order to validate your UNet access.
4. In the ID Verification section, please enter your SAGE student ID number.
5. In the Your Username section, please enter your first and second choice for your UNet username. Remember, once you establish a UNet account, the username becomes part of your Brandeis e-mail address and you will keep the same e-mail address during your entire academic career. Because all Brandeis students and staff have UNet usernames, your first choice may not be available.
6. In the Your Password or Pass Phrase section, please enter your password. The minimum number of characters for your password is seven and your password must adhere to the security rules established by LTS, as outlined in the section.
7. As an additional security feature, please enter a question and the answer to the question in the section Forgotten Password Challenge Question & Answer. This feature is a verification process in case you need to reset your password.
8. Click the button 'Create Account' and you are done.
9. If the username you selected is not available, you will be prompted to select another. If you continue to have problems establishing a UNet account, please call the student help desk at (781) 529-8638.
10. Login to SAGE at https://sage.brandeis.edu and complete your housing application. Follow the links for Residence Life and Housing Application.
