Living-Learning Community Application

Students must have completed the First-Year Experience Programs Application by June 10, 2009 to be accepted to the living-learning community.  Applications are still being accepted for the MOSAIC program.

See the Frequently Asked Questions page for more information about these First-Year Experience opportunities.

First-Year Experience Living-Learning Community

The First-Year Experience Living Learning Community brings together new students who share an interest in social and community engagement and leadership in a residential setting. This environment encourages conversations among students, staff, faculty, and community members about leadership involvement, citizenship and responsibility. Participants engage in purposeful projects and thoughtful reflection, encouraging them to think deeply about social issues and values, as well as their role as leaders in the Brandeis community and beyond.

Students interested in the First-Year Experience Living Learning Community must have submitted an application by June 10.  Students interested in the community but who missed the application deadline are strongly encouraged to register for the following two opportunities:

A) Register for PE44a First-Year Experience: Spirit, Mind and Body by the end of July during the SAGE registration period:
http://sage.brandeis.edu

B) Register for the MOSAIC (Make Opportunities for Social Adjustment Interaction and Connection) First-Year Experience Leadership Program.  To register for MOSAIC, please check the box for the MOSAIC program on the First-Year Experience Programs application.
