Brandeis BOOOO!

Eeeek out some time in your schedule to carve up some fun! The Brandeis campus will explode in Halloween costumes and decorations. Get in the spirit and visit participating offices for candy, fun, music, and to vote on Best Decorated Office!

HALLOWEEN FOR THE HUNGRY

Dress up in costume and bring your friends to volunteer for the annual Waltham Group Hunger and Homelessness Halloween for the Hungry Food Drive.  Email Petra Nelson or Max Shpilman with questions and/or to sign up to trick or treat for non perishable food items between 3-9pm. Transportation provided.   

ADDITIONAL SPELL-BINDING HALLOWEEN DETAILS   
  • Sodexo will feature a Halloween Festive Menu.
  • A Community Halloween Party for Waltham youth will be sponsored by the ICC and Waltham Group on October 31.
  • A small number of youth from the local community will have the opportunity to go trick or treatin' and participate in activities throughout offices and departments on campus.
  • Be Safe on Halloween! Wear Glow Sticks So That You Can Be Seen!

    Kids of Waltham- make Brandeis your first stop for trick-or-treating! Pick up a glow stick and grab some goodies before heading out for the night. Come to Spingold Loop in front of Spingold Theater on Brandeis' campus between 5:00 and 8:00 on Halloween. Brandeis wants you to be safe and have fun!

    Directions: Upon entering campus continue on loop road to the Lower (left side) of campus at the Main Entrance gatehouse. The front circle for Spingold Theater loop  is your first left after the stop sign.
EVENTS, Thursday October 31
  • Lemberg Children's Center's Halloween-Fall Bake Sale, SCC Atrium,  10:00AM-3:00PM          Lemberg Children's Center is putting on its Fall Bake Sale!  It is an exciting year for the center what with the building of a new center on Old South St. Help us raise money to continue to offer financial assistance for tuition, by celebrating Halloween and the Fall with us and enjoying some delicious treats homemade by the Lemberg CC families! Purchase some adorable crafts and cards made with love by the Lemberg children! If you're lucky, you'll even hear some live songs performed by our talented children! Make sure to have some cash on you.
  • Brandeis Metalworking Club- Goldman Schwartz Room 114, 8:00am-8:00pm          This event is to make Halloween-inspired metal artwork or jewelry! Sign up for a time slot to learn how to metalwork, and then take your piece home! Please be advised that it will take at least two hours to complete a piece. Please email to sign-up.
  • HauntedCastle- Usden Castle Commons, 7:00-9:00pm          Get your adrenaline pumping @ the Brandeis' First Annual Haunted Castle! There will be snacks & surprises of the spookiest sort. Ghoulish games hosted by Game Knight. Start your night off right by dropping by before hitting the streets. Brought to you by the lovely people at Community Living. You can't even prepare to be this scared.
    Non-perishable food donations for the Waltham YMCA food drive are welcome, and will be collected at the door.
  • Costume/Halloween Bingo- The Stein, 10:00pm
