SCB Description
The Student Conduct Board (SCB) is a pool of Brandeis students, faculty, and staff from which a panel is identified to hear cases of alleged violations of University policy.
The Board is responsible for resolving conflicts between parties and upholding community standards within the Brandeis Community. Section 20 of Rights and Responsibilities describes the SCB in greater detail.
Student Conduct Board Application
**Applications for the 2013-14 SCB NOW Available**
APPLY through our online application
Role Description and obligations for new and incumbent Board Members
Please sign up for an individual interview and you MUST participate in a Group Process activity to complete your application.
Notes for the forthcoming 2013-14 application process:
1. All undergraduate and graduate students (GSAS, Heller, IBS) are eligible who've been enrolled for at least one full semester.
2. While full-year participation is favored, it is possible to participate for the Fall 2013 semester only. It is not possible to participate for the Spring 2014 semester alone. (This is a training issue.)
3. Applicants who will be unable to participate in late August training will not be considered for the SCB. Though reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate students with minor conflicts with other Brandeis obligations, we will not be able to select applicants who intend to participate in other organizations whose training programs overlap (e.g. OLs, Roosevelt Fellows, CAs, etc.).
4. Please direct questions about the applications process to Dean Gendron, at gendron@brandeis.edu or Tiffany Chan, at tchan@brandeis.edu.
