The Student Conduct Board
The Student Conduct Board (SCB) is a student, staff, and faculty panel that hears cases of alleged violations of University policy. It is the role of the Board to determine the acceptable standards of behavior for the Brandeis Community. The composition of and procedures for the SCB are described in Section 20 of the Rights and Responsibilities, the student code of conduct.
The University Appeals Board on Student Conduct, also described in Section 20, is a student-faculty panel that reviews appeals of decisions made by the SCB or by administrative action. It is the role of this board to determine whether there is sufficient grounds for an appeal and, if so, to completely rehear the case.
