SCB Description

The Student Conduct Board (SCB) is a panel that hears cases of alleged violations of University policy.

The Board is responsible for resolving conflicts between parties and upholding community standards within the Brandeis Community.

In addition to undergraduate and graduate students, members of the faculty and administration belong to the Board as well.

Role Description and obligations for new and incumbent Board Members

Notes:

1. All undergraduate and graduate students (GSAS, Heller, IBS) are eligible who've been enrolled for at least one full semester.

2. While full-year participation is favored, it is possible to participate for the Fall 2012 semester only.  It is not possible to participate for the Spring 2013 semester alone.  (This is a training issue.)

3. Preference will be given to applicants who do not have August training conflicts, though reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate students with minor conflicts with other Brandeis obligations.

4. Please direct questions about the applications process to Dean Gendron, at gendron@brandeis.edu.

5. Please bring a printed copy of your resume with you to your individual interview.
