Departmental Programming
The Department of Student Activities hosts a variety of events throughout the year. This includes Welcome Week in August and Winter Week in January, two week-long series of social programs to welcome students to campus. Past events have included bands, hypnotists, comedians, novelties such as inflatables, dance parties and a variety of other great activities! Student Activities also collaborates with other university departments such as the Department of Athletics and Physical Education and the Department of Orientation and First-Year Programs to implement campus-wide events.
Stein Nights are sponsored by the Department of Student Activities and take place every Thursday throughout the semester and are designed to provide entertainment and a social atmosphere for students. The entire Brandeis community is invited to Stein Nights. The Fall semester of 2007 is sure to have something for everyone! The Stein will host everything from karaoke nights to a Comedy Night. Come enjoy music, games, prizes, food specials and $2 16 oz. Bud Light for the 21+ crowd.
