The Department of Student Activities is located on the second floor of the Shapiro Campus Center in room 203.

We are open Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm.

Fall 2016 Programs

From Bingo and Trivia to going to the beach or apple picking, the fall semester brings a wide variety of programs and events, sponsored by the Department of Student Activities.

Thursday, September 1

2016 Fall Home Opener - Women's Soccer vs. MIT
7 p.m., Gordon Soccer Field
Brandeis women’s soccer kicks off the 2016 season against their rivals from Cambridge. The Judges are in search of their third-straight bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Brandeis Volleyball Invitational vs. Smith
6  p.m., Auerbach Arena, Gosman Athletic Center
The women’s volleyball team kicks off its 2016 campaign with the first of three matches in the Brandeis Invitational. The Judges meet Rhode Island College Saturday at 10 a.m. and Wellesley at 2 p.m.

Saturday, September 3

2016 Brandeis Men's Soccer Kick-Off Classic, Presented by the Park Lodge Hotel Group
1:30 p.m., Gordon Soccer Field
The Brandeis men’s soccer team has been to the NCAA Division III Tournament Sweet 16 four years in a row, and they kick off their bid to make it five straight when they meet John Caroll University. The game will also have a tailgate with free shirts and food, so come cheer on the Judges!

Bubble Soccer & Best of Waltham Pizza Contest
7 p.m.Midnight, Gordon Soccer Field
Bubble Soccer–a cross between zorbing and soccer. Play with your friends or against them! All are welcome and no experience required! Registration (imleagues.com/brandeis)ends on Wednesday, August 31! Sample and vote on your favorite pizza in Waltham with samplings from several local restaurants!

Get away from campus for some fun in the sun and sand at Carson Beach! We will provide transportation for you and your friends to go relax on the beach, play in the sand and surf, and enjoy the summer sun. The 12th Annual 24-Hour Musical

Come see fellow students put on an entire musical in just 24 hours! This once per year production is a show you won’t want to miss. Get your free ticket on the patio by The Great Lawn at 1 pm. Please join us at this year's Break the Fast, following the Yom Kippur holiday. Families and communities around the world will come together to mark the conclusion of this most sacred day on the Jewish calendar and wish each other well for the New Year. To this end, our entire campus community is invited to gather in the large tent on the Great Lawn in front of the Shapiro Campus Center to enjoy lots of delicious, kosher food.
