Muslim Student Association

The Brandeis Muslim Student Association (MSA) is dedicated to nurturing Islamic culture, heritage and religious practices as well as combating the common stereotypes and misunderstandings about Islam and Muslims.

For more information, visit the MSA Web site.

The Muslim community is served by Maryam Sharrieff, the interim Muslim chaplain.

The imam leads prayers every Friday for the Islamic community and other interested observers and is also available for counseling and other spiritual matters.

The imam comes to campus for feasts of the Islamic community and is engaged in many interfaith discussions and shares with the other chaplains in the overall spiritual life of the university.
