The University Board on Student Conduct

The University Board on Student Conduct is a student-faculty panel that hears cases of alleged violations of University policy. It is the role of this Board to determine what standards of behavior are acceptable in the Brandeis community. The composition of and procedures for the UBSC are described in the:

Rights and Responsibilities in Student Conduct System, Section 20

The University Appeals Board on Student Conduct, described in Section 20, is a student-faculty panel that reviews appeals of decisions made by the UBSC or by administrative action. It is the role of this Board to determine whether there is sufficient grounds for an appeal, and, if so, to completely rehear the case.
