Until you have begun your formal undergraduate career with either a Fall or Spring semester, your summer courses are held in a separate record and as such are not counted in your GPA.
You may request to have these courses transferred to your permanent undergraduate record once you have matriculated.
Both credit and semester residency may impact a transfer student’s ability to use summer courses toward the Brandeis degree. Such students should be aware of these how these requirements will impact their academic planning.
Limits to the total number of Summer School courses a degree candidate may use toward their degree are dictated by residency policies as articulated in the University Bulletin.
Residency is measured in both semesters and courses. As a result, there are different requirements for four-year and transfer degree candidates.
