CLASS CANCELATION: 7/2/2008 - The following Summer Session II classes have been canceled due to low/no enrollments: COSI 33B; COSI 65A; NPSY 11B; and SOC 130A. Any students enrolled at the time of cancelation have been notified.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!: 4/1/2008 - Online course registration is now available for Brandeis Students through SAGE. Instructions on how Brandeis students may register in SAGE may be found here. Non-Brandeis students should begin by creating a student record and then, once they have a SAGE ID and Password, they may register in SAGE.

Summer Session I: June 2 - July 3, 2008
Summer Session II: July 7 - August 8, 2008
Extended Summer Session: June 2 - August 8, 2008
Hebrew Language Summer Institute: June 2 - June 27, 2008

What's New 2007

This page features news, changes, and additions to the 2007 Summer School.

IMPORTANT WebCT UPDATE: 6/7/2007: Many visiting summer students are reporting difficulty logging into WebCT, the Brandeis Online Course System.

If you are having difficult logging in to WebCT, use these revised instructions to log in:
1) Create a Brandeis University Network (UNet) account. To do this, visit: https://unet.brandeis.edu/
2) Click on "Open a UNet Account."
3) Read the Brandeis University computer policy.  When you are ready, click "I Agree" at the bottom of the webpage.
4) Enter your First and Last name in the boxes provided (you may have to scroll down the webpage to see the "Open a New Account" section).
5) Enter your student ID number this was sent to you as a W1234567 number.  Replace the W with a 2 and you have your student ID number. (If you have lost your ID number, just call the Summer School Office at 781-736-3424)
6) Pick your first and second choice of username.  For example, johndoe or jdoe or jd2007.
7) Pick your pass-phrase.
8) Pick a security questions(in case you forget your passphrase and need to call the computer help desk!).
9) Click "Create Account"

This will create a "johndoe @ brandeis.edu" email address for you. Please note: the pass-phrase you choose will over overwrite the SAGE password you were initially given with whatever you chose. After a few hours (the 2 systems need to sync up) you should be able to return to WebCT and login using your new UNet logins.

Remember: Not all instructors will use WebCT or have a course website - it is a tool that is used at the discretion of the instructor.
