**The submission deadline for the SunDeis 2008 has passed. We hope you will submit a film next year!**
Open Submissions: No Entry Fee
All genres and runtimes welcome: Animation, Experimental, Documentary, Foreign Language, Music Video, Fiction, etc.
We are also accepting unfilmed screenplays. Please fill out submission form as much as possible, and mail in your script by the deadline.
Rules for Entry
- Submitter must be enrolled at a place of higher education or film specialty school.
- Students who have graduated less than one year before the submission deadline may submit films to SunDeis.
- SunDeis observes copyright law. Any film that features copyrighted material (i.e. music, images, speech, footage, and/or screenplay) should submit written proof of permission. Films that violate copyright law will be rejected.
- Film Submission form must be received by Feb. 22, 2008 as judging starts immediately.
- Each filmmaker may submit a maximum of two (2) films.
- Films that have been shown at previous film festivals are eligible for entry.
- All lengths up to 2.5 hours are acceptable.
- We do not have the facilities to accommodate films shot in PAL format.
- All films must be submitted on VHS tape or DVD.
- Film content will not be censored.
*Work completed during the summer or between registered quarters is acceptable.
How to Submit Your Film
- Complete the online submission form on the website before Feb. 22, 2008.
- The online submission form must be completed for each entry.
- If necessary, provide a copy of the written documentation of permission of use for any copyrighted material.
- If your film uses original music, please enclose sheet music.
- Do not submit your only master, as all entries and accompanying materials received will not be returned and will become property of Brandeis University.
- Send DVD or VHS copy and accompanying materials to:

Notification
- Films selected for exhibition at this year's festival will receive notification in early March. Award nomination notifications will also take place in early March.
