SunDeis 2008

One of the many highlights of the 2008 SunDeis Student Film Festival was special guest and first ever SunDeis Alumni Achievement Award recipient Tony Goldwyn '82. As an actor and director Goldwyn possesses those rare skills that make him a powerhouse both in front of and behind the camera. Goldwyn has directed such films as 2006's "The Last Kiss" staring Zach Braff, Casey Affleck, Rachel Bilson, Jacinda Barrett,
Blythe Danner, and Tom Wilkinson. He also directed "A Walk on the Moon" and "Someone Like You". His newest film, "Betty Anne Waters", staring Hillary Swank, Minnie Driver, and Sam Rockwell, comes out next winter. Goldwyn stars in the film " The Last House on the Left" comes out this spring. He can also be seen in episodes of Law and Order Criminal Intent and Dexter as well as such movies as Ghost, The Sisters, and the voice of Tarzan in Disney's Tarzan.
SunDeis 2007
The Brandeis Alumni & Friends Panel was one of the most popular events of the 2007 SunDeis Film Festival. It offered students a chance to hear and question distinguished figures in the entertainment industry, including an Oscar winning screenwriter, the head of programming for MTVu, the editor of "Finding Nemo" and other animated classics, a top executive at Lifetime, an entertainment lawyer, and the personal manager of A-list stars like Keanu Reeves and Debra Messing.
