Some of the entertainment industry's best are Brandeis alumni and friends, and they'll be here to talk about how they got from college to where they are now--and how you can too!  After the panel, there will be roundtable discussions led by each speaker.
Guests include:

  • Ann Carol Grossman '69, a documentary filmmaker
  • Michael Jacobs P'10, playwright and creator/producer of "Boy Meets World," "Dinosaurs" and "Charles in Charge."
  • Jane Paley Price '69, an Emmy award-winning producer.
  • Andrew Slack '02, co-founder of the sketch comedy group The Late Night Players, and the Harry Potter Alliance

SPECIAL SCREENING WITH THE DIRECTOR: Tony Goldwyn
Wasserman Cinematheque, Sachar International Center
See The Last Kiss (2006) on the big screen, followed by a Q & A with director Tony Goldwyn '82, moderated by Director of the Office of the Arts Scott Edmiston.

Our panel of experts breaks out a crystal ball and discusses where film is going, how the industry is changing and other insights.
Guests include:

  • Prof. Alice Kelikian (HIST), chair of the film studies program
  • Prof. Sharon Rivo (NEJS), co-founder and executive director of the National Center for Jewish Film
  • Sam Weisman MFA '73, actor and director for the stage (Brandeis production of Tom Stoppard’s "Arcadia") and screen (D2: The Might Ducks, "Monk")
  • Andrew Slack '02, co-founder of the sketch comedy group The Late Night Players, and the Harry Potter Alliance
