Give & Go

Give & Go is our annual move-out donation program. Instead of tossing your unwanted items in the trash, check first if they can be donated.

This year, houseware donations will be benefitting Household Goods in Acton, MA, which provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home. Clothing and textiles will be going to Bay State Textiles, which donates or recycles items. Books, DVDs, CDs and video games will go to More Than Words book store in Waltham, which empowers youth to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.

Collection boxes will be located in residence hall common areas starting the first week of May 2018, and will remain until the end of finals (except Charles River and Foster Mods, which will remain until the day after Commencement).

Collection box locations

  • Charles River: Lounge
  • East: Entrances outside Hass 334 and Pom 201
  • Foster Mods: Container onsite (note: starting May 9)
  • Massell: Shapiro Lounge
  • North: Polaris
  • Ridgewood: Commons
  • Rosenthal: Dance studio
  • Village: Across from AC office
