Thanksgiving host program

Are you interested in sharing your Thanksgiving holiday traditions with a current Brandeis International Student?

Participating as a Thanksgiving Holiday Host is a great opportunity to learn about the cultural traditions of Brandeis University's wonderful international students, develop rewarding friendships with them, and maybe even contribute to their adjustment to life at Brandeis.

This year the holiday is celebrated on Thursday, November 24, 2016; however, hosts that participate in this program do not necessarily have to plan their meal or Thanksgiving event on the actual day that the holiday is officially observed. For example, a Thanksgiving Holiday Host may invite their student to join her/his family Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, November 23rd or on the weekend!

If you are interested in sharing your family's Thanksgiving traditions with an international student or two this year, please take a few moments to fill out the online Sign-Up Form.
The Sign-Up Deadline to be a Thanksgiving Holiday Host is 12 NOON on Monday, November 21st. The ISSO will be in touch with you regarding contact information for the international student who will be joining your Thanksgiving holiday celebrations.
