Lavender Graduation 2017 Registration & Nomination

Dear Students,

Lavender Graduation is an annual celebration of LGBTQIA+ and Ally students, both graduate and undergraduate, to mark their achievements, contributions, and the degrees they've earned. This year marks Brandeis University's 6th Lavender Graduation ceremony. It was originally established by Dr. Ronni Sanlo in 1995 at the University of Michigan to honor not just LGBTQIA+ students' achievements, but their "surviving their college years." Since then, LavGrads have been created in many universities nationwide.

If you have received a degree in Summer or Fall 2016, or will be graduating May 2017, and would like to participate in the ceremony, please register here: Registration Form, before March 31st. The ceremony will be held in the early evening on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the Intercultural Center Lounge.

We are also taking nominations for awards that will be presented to those who have tirelessly supported LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff at Brandeis. If you would like to nominate an undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty, and/or staff member, please use this form to do so --

Thank you and congratulations! We hope to see you there.
