Arthur Cohen is a former trustee of the New York Law School, the Long Island Jewish Hillside Medical Center, and the John Hancock Mutual Fund. Arthur served as an overseer at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and is a former director of both Citicorp and the Home Title Division of Chicago Title Insurance Company. He has guest lectured at the Harvard Business school and the Wharton School of Business.

Cohen is a member of the Special Mission to Israel under Golda Meir and the Special Envoy to Aid Underprivileged Nations under Lyndon B. Johnson. He has received an honorary degree from Long Island University, as well as honors from Man of the Year, Anti-Defamation League, City of Hope and the Tree of Life Award from the Jewish National Fund.

Cohen received his B.A. from the University of Miami and his J.D. from the New York Law School.
