Barbara A. Mandel

Barbara Mandel is the president of the Cleveland Section of the National Council of Jewish Women, the national president of the National Council of Jewish Women, the chair of Leadership Development for Project Renewal, and co-chair of the Campaign for the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland. She is the president of the American Friends of Hebrew University, and the deputy chair of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of Hebrew University. Mandel is also the national vice president of the National Women's Division of United Jewish Appeal, and the development chair of the Cooper Hewitt Museum.

She has received an honorary degree at Hebrew University and is a life trustee at the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland. She has received the Hannah G. Solomon Award from the National Council of Jewish Women, and is in the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame.

Mandel received an B.A. at Case Western Reserve University.
