Rhonda Zinner is president of the Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family Foundations. She is also an overseer at the Museum of Fine Arts. From 1988 to 1997, she was a practicing psychotherapist.

Zinner was co-founder and director of the Thomas Segal Gallery, Boston from 1977 to 1986. At Brandeis, Zinner is vice chair and a member of the board of overseers at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management.

Zinner received her B.A. at Sarah Lawrence College and her M.S.W. at Boston University School of Social Work. She then received her M.Ed. and Certificate of Advanced Study in Human Development and Psychology at Harvard University School of Education.
