Applying for 2009 matriculation to health professions schools
All applicants should attend an Applicant Workshop. At this workshop, you will receive a form that must be filled out in order for you to utilize the services of our office (i.e., be assigned a Premedical Board Advisor, have your materials collected within our office, and have a composite letter of recommendation written on your behalf). If you have not or cannot attend one of these workshops, please contact Dean Kate Fukawa-Connelly at (781) 736-3470 or by email.
The deadline for opening a file is September 1, 2008 -- that is, you must have submitted, at minimum, the Intake Form, and your Student Forms 1-4. If you are a reapplicant, you must have contacted our office and told us to reopen your file. Students who have not opened a file by this time will not be eligible for a composite letter of recommendation. Exceptions to this deadline will only be made by written petition, and are subject to approval by the Board of Premedical Advisors.
Note that files are completed and sent to schools on a first come, first served basis. Turnaround time is approximately three weeks.
First Time Applicant
(current undergraduate, postbac, or alumni who has never opened a file with the office)
Reapplicant
(individual who has completed the process of applying, and has had a composite letter of recommendation sent by the Board to health professional schools).
Continuing Applicant
