If Your Computer Was Connected to UNet Last Year,
You Should Be Ready to Connect!

  1. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on your computer and the other end into the appropriate wall jack.
(If you need an Ethernet cable, see our Purchasing Section.)

  2. We recommend that you run the installer from the 1999 UNet CD to update your Macintosh Internet software or Windows 95/98 PC Internet software.

  3. Open Netscape and go to https://unet.brandeis.edu where you will re-register your computer for your new location.
That's it!

If all has gone as planned, you should now be connected to UNet.

If you are still having trouble connecting to the network, try going step-by-step through the connection process, or contact the UNet Student Help Desk.
