Scheduled Network/Power Outage -- August 13-16, 1999
Facilities has scheduled an electrical shutdown in the buildings listed
below the weekend of August 14th-15th for the purpose of repairing
equipment to avoid potential failure in the near future.
The buildings housing all network services are affected.
The campus network core and all central computing facilities will be
shut down starting around 5pm on Friday, August 13th. No service will
be restored until Monday, August 16th.
Email for Brandeis users SHOULD be queued on the originating site and
delivered by noon Monday.
Setting a mail forwarding address will have no effect because the email
needs to reach a live machine before it is passed on.
