Wien International Scholars

Tributes

Joseph Abramoff

Israel, Middle East

It is a celebration and a time to thank the Wien family.

The Wien scholarship helped me to come to the United States and receive an education that changed my life. The vision and the wisdom of the Wien program was to recognize education as the main engine for change and, yes, it has changed my life and the lives of all of the other Wien scholars.

I grew up in Israel during the formative years of the state and arrived to Brandeis to view a new world. Since my return to Israel, I have been engaged in business and academia.

I frequently think and express how fortunate I was to be part of Wien International Scholarship Program.
