Marjorie O'Neill Clapprood

Marjorie O’Neill Clapprood earned her B.S. in Health Care Administration from Stonehill College. In 1984 she won the first of three successive terms in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, where she was named “Legislator of the Year” eight times. Clapprood has won local and national acclaim for her work on Boston radio and television, and hosted her own national talk show, Clapprood Live! on Lifetime Television. She has been a guest on numerous national broadcasts, including Oprah, Good Morning, America, Geraldo! and The Chris Matthews Show, and is in demand as a public speaker. After successfully battling leukemia in 2008, Clapprood and her husband Chris Spinazzola formed CLAPPAZZOLA PARTNERS, a consulting firm specializing in event production, board development, lobbying, and strategic positioning, with a special expertise in producing food and wine events. Clapprood is a co-founder and former Trustee of the Anthony Spinazzola Foundation and has a special interest in hunger relief and homelessness. She lives in Sharon with her husband, Chris Spinazzola, where they spend their spare time with their children, six grandchildren, and various pets.
