Ellen Beth Lande

Ellen Beth Lande ‘73 is a published author, inventor and entrepreneur. A former vice president of marketing at Impressions Software, and at MediaCom, Inc., she was founder and president of The Great Kid Company, and Lansdowne Press. Ellen Beth has also worked as a brand manager at Sierra-on-Line and a marketing director at Mass-Save Inc. She has been involved in sales, marketing, PR, advertising and communications for over 30 years. 

Ms. Lande holds a Master’s degree in International Business from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a BA in History from Brandeis University. She is currently a principle in Allegro Marketing & Communications and an adjunct faculty member at Bunker Hill Community College where she teaches English and cross-cultural studies.

With a lifelong interest in the performing arts, Ellen Beth has taught and choreographed dance at Boston area venues. A native of Montreal, Canada, she has lived in the Boston area for over 35 years, where she has been active in the Brandeis Alumni association and Travel program, Jewish Vocational Services, Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights, and currently serves as business mentor at YearUp, helping young urban adults move from poverty to professional careers. She is married to Detlev Suderow, Brandeis ‘70 and they are the proud parents of sons Sasha (Brandeis ’05) and Max. She has recently published her first novel, Bedtime Stories for Grownup Girls.
