Mona S. Reis

Mona S. Reis is a respected, passionate and seasoned health care professional on the forefront of the abortion rights movement. Ms. Reis joined the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) while a student at American University and it was here that she beame a committed activist to legalize abortion in the United States. In 1980, she founded the Presidential Women’s Center in West Palm Beach. The Center has come to be known as one of Florida’s most respected, caring and professional out-patient abortion facilities. She has served as Director on the Boards of Planned Parenthood, National Abortion Federation and the Anti-Defamation League. She is a recipient of the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Award, NOW’s Susan B. Anthony Award, NCJW Women of Power Award, and the ACLU’s Harriette Glasner 2006 Freedom Award. She is the proud mother of two wonderful and accomplished adult children and dotes on her three adorable grandchildren.
