Exhibition: April 13 - July 16
Opening Reception: Monday, April 13, 5-8 pm

Live Performance: Sunday, April 26, 2:00 pm

As the HBI Artist-in-Residence, Milcah Bassel will work on site to create large-scale wall drawings based on 5 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Multiplying and playing with the space between these letters will provide the basis for a multidisciplinary installation that explores space through the altering of language. Bassel’s installation will address the patriarchal roots of this ancient square alphabet through a personal, feminist, and abstract lens.
