Mary Oestereicher Hamill is Appointed Representative to UN

On March 11 at the United Nations in New York Mary Oestereicher Hamill gave an invited presentation for the UN Commission on the Status of Women/NGO annual conference. The focus was her collaborative art projects in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Also she has been appointed representative to the UN from the national Women's Caucus for the Arts.

Her current project of socially engaged visual stories is "Cambodia War Widows." It is described briefly on her updated website maryhamill.com.  Also there are a new bio, cv, and portrait---thanks to her invaluable sustained connection with her erstwhile Student/Scholar Partner Seth Bernstein (now running Eidetic Production in NYC).

The CV includes listings as well for her artwork currently on exhibition in New York at Medialia Gallery and at Sideshow Gallery.
