Diana Durham

Diana Durham is a writer and poet, author of The Return of King Arthur: Finishing the Quest for Wholeness (Tarcher/Penguin). She gives workshops on the meaning of the Arthurian myths. Her interest in the modern relevance of these stories grew out of her involvement in intentional community in the United Kingdom, Canada and the U.S., including participation in the early years of exploring dialogue with the late theoretical physicist David Bohm. She was Assistant Producer on the primetime network series “Dinner on the Diner” for PBS; and is the author of two poetry books Sea of Glass (Diamond Press) and To the End of the Night (Northwoods Press, winner of their annual competition). In London, Diana worked with the Angels of Fire performance group, appearing in "The Voice Box" at the Royal Festival Hall. In New Hampshire she founded ‘3 Voices’ three women writers, partly funded the NH State Council on the Arts, who performed state-wide. More recently, Diana has written, performed and produced an audio-play entitled “Perceval & the Grail,” a modern retelling of the 12th century original. She has also completed a collection of 55 sonnets and is in the final stages of a new non-fiction book.

Current Projects

A word collage - part narrative, part conversation, part poetry, part interview - spoken by the archetypal figure of Morgana from Arthurian legend, that shows first, that the feminine qualities of intuition, emotional intelligence, and inner directed awareness are at the leading edge of leadership training; second, that it is these qualities in leadership which makes possible conscious and creative collective function.
