As the university unveils a new core curriculum for undergraduates and, under the leadership of President Ron Liebowitz, shapes a new framework for Brandeis' future, there has never been a better time to be — or to become — a Brandeisian.
For current and prospective students, I encourage you to learn about our approach to undergraduate education, known as the Brandeis Core. The core is designed to guide your intellectual growth and understanding while helping you develop practical skills you will use throughout your lifetime.
You can also learn about our amazing community of faculty and students. Brandeis is one of the only universities in the United States that can claim diversity and social justice among its founding principles — values that remain critical components of the Brandeis experience to this day.
For faculty, we have curated a series of teaching resources available on campus, along with opportunities for travel, research and professional development. The site also contains information about faculty governance, including the Faculty Handbook and the Faculty Senate.
For staff, we have gathered relevant information from across campus — everything from technology and web training to counseling services and human resources.
We are experiencing perhaps the most exciting periods in our university’s history. I invite you to learn more about the School of Arts and Sciences and how we work to exemplify Brandeis’ core values.
I hope you will reach out to my office if you have any questions or concerns.
