About the Event

Join Professor John Michalczyk, Ph.D. for a discussion regarding his forthcoming book entitled "Julius Streicher - Tainted Images, Stolen Lives".  Julius Streicher, the rabid anti-Semitic publisher of a Nazi tabloid and three children’s readers, used dehumanized and at times semi-pornographic images to foster a hatred of Jews. His paper, Der Stürmer, was widely read, even by Hitler as he devoured page after page and continued to protect his World War One comrade -in-arms, even when other Nazi officials ostracized him. His speeches and writings finally led him to the gallows.
