Classes of 2020 and 2021 [Re]Commencement

You got through the circumstance, now it's time for the pomp! The Brandeis Classes of 2020 and 2021 are invited to return to campus for a [Re]Commencement ceremony and celebration on Sunday, May 22, 2022. 

The [Re]Commencement ceremony will be held on campus at the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. Graduates should arrive by 3 p.m. at the Gordon Field track for pre-ceremony preparations. The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. Each graduate is welcome to bring four guests to the ceremony, and the ceremony will also be livestreamed.

There will be a post-commencement party at Time Out Market in Boston’s Fenway area.  The party is open to 2020 and 2021 graduates only.

The order of events will be as follows:

3 - 4:45 p.m.: Staging Area Registration and Line Up
5 - 7:15 p.m.: Procession & Ceremony
7:45 p.m.: Shuttles depart for party
8:30 - 11 p.m.: Party at Time Out Market
10 p.m.: Early-return shuttle from party
11 p.m.: Shuttles return from party

Registration for the [Re]Commencement ceremony and celebration closed on Jan. 1, 2022.

If you cannot attend [Re]Commencement on May 22, please remember that you are always welcome to walk in any future Brandeis Commencement. You also are invited to return to campus June 10-12 for Alumni Weekend 2022, whether you attend [Re]Commencement or not.
