Domestic travel for fully vaccinated individuals

International travel for fully-vaccinated individuals


Level 1, 2 or 3 countries (as designated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) for personal or university-sponsored travel requires the following:

Travel-quarantine means a traveler may not engage in any on-campus activity with the exception of going to the testing site for required tests, the Student Health Center by appointment, and picking up grab-and-go meals at a dining hall, if a student is living on campus. A mask must be worn at all times indoors while on travel-quarantine.

It is incumbent upon the traveler to ensure the destination is considered to be level 1, level 2, or level 3 at the time of travel; travelers must be prepared to undergo increased post-travel quarantine if the country’s designation changes from Level 1, 2 or 3 to Level 4, even while they are away.

 Level 4 or unknown countries

Prior to travel to a Level 4 or unknown country:

Upon return from a Level 4 or unknown country (whether personal or university-sponsored):

All travelers must follow any instructions of medical providers and/or contact tracers, which supersede this policy.

If a staff member is unable to work during the required 7-day quarantine period, quarantine time should be included in the original time off request by the staff/faculty member and will come out of their accrued time off.
