Gemma Curnin '19
 

Gemma is majoring in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Art History, with a minor in Creativity, the Arts, and Social Transformation. She is a UDR for the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department and an active member of the Students Committee for the Rose Art Museum (SCRAM). Off campus, Gemma is a docent at the New Art Center in Newton. She is a multifaceted artist, mainly focusing her creative energy towards visual performances with poetry and photography. She hopes to explore the role that art can play—physically and mentally—as a process for girls to self-reflect and self-express.

Zachary Diamond


Zachary Diamond '18

Zachary is majoring in Physics & Mathematics. He is a Physics UDR. Zach is also doing research in the Physics division of Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he is working on a project involving optimizing patient-cancer specific drug treatments and methods, biological networks, and machine learning. Besides his work in the classroom and at MGH, Zach is a captain of the Brandeis University Swimming and Diving Team. He loves to root for the New York Yankees and New York Rangers and has a passion for antiques, museums, arcades, and food. Zach is open to whatever suggestions, thoughts, problems, and questions regarding the UDR program or Brandeis in general and he’d love to chat over coffee!

Danielle Gaskin



Danielle Gaskin '18

Danielle is majoring in Health: Science, Society, and Policy (HSSP) and International and Global Studies (IGS) with a minor in Classical Studies. She has research interests in maternal and child health and exploring the intersections of health disparities and refugee status. Her goal is to be an academic who conducts global health research in these fields. Danielle is an UDR for the HSSP program, Study Abroad Ambassador, and a co-president of the Brandies Black Student Organization. She is a lover of vintage TV shows, musicals, books, food, and tea. She is always open to discussions on academics, innovative event ideas, different foods, and the hottest bestsellers.

Caroline Kaye



Caroline Kaye '18

Caroline is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Elementary Education and will be student teaching this year for her elementary school certification. She is especially interested in Child Developmental Psychology and the intersection between Psychology and Education. She is a UDR for the Psychology department. She enjoys working in the Child and Adolescent Research on Development Lab and was awarded the Wittels Fellowship award this past year to do research in the CoPE Lab. Caroline is also a captain of the Brandeis Rowing Team and a volunteer in the Waltham Group’s Brandeis Buddies. In her spare time when she is not rowing, she can be found showing friends pictures of her yellow lab, Halo, and catching up on sleep from waking up at 5:00AM for crew practice.
